O novo Estádio da Luz foi inaugurado a 25 de outubro de 2003, com uma memorável festa, tendo sido construído com o objetivo de ser, também, um dos recintos do Euro 2004. Moderno e inovador, é o maior recinto desportivo português e, ao longo destas duas décadas, foi palco de vários eventos internacionais e de momentos incontornáveis da história do Benfica.
